To become the go-to strategic designer for brands at the forefront of
positive impact innovation.

In 2017, I began finding moths everywhere. They show up in my life at pivotal times in the most serendipitous ways. Destinies persistence persuaded me to research moths, their nature and symbology. This study gave birth to The Kreative Kind philosophy.

Moths always go towards the light. I identify with this deeply, because my work is solely guided by my hearts desire to serve, to solve, and to shine light on as many people possible. In a world focused on the fleeting pleasures of environmentally & emotionally detrimental consumerism, I fight for a light-lead legacy. Following this vision, is what inspired the central eye within the logo.

Moths are nocturnal, and thus they rely on senses and intuition more than anything else. My creative compass works similarly. Strategy guides the intuition of my clients and their ideal customers though design that speaks to the senses.

My name is Ria Hardcastle, I was born in the U.S. and I moved to Mexico when I was 6. Growing up a foreigner with severe dyslexia (hence the K in creative), I spent a lot of my time alone, finding solace completely immersed in my super-power, creativity.

I am a multifaceted creator. I LOVE it all: design, painting, sewing, music, video, photo, writing, acting, etc. With these passions, I got a scholarship at New Hampton School and graduated in ‘16. There, I discovered Design Thinking and fell in love with the process of building brands through an empathic lens.

After graduating, I worked as a videographer, then a curator & sales manager at an art gallery. All while studying online and getting freelance work as a designer. I got a job at a design agency in Guadalajara Mexico as a creative director, and left to pursue my dream of running my own business as a digital nomad.

Most recently, I became a contestant on a Youtube show called ‘Young Guns Season 2’, hosted by The Futur. I am competing with 6 other young designers from around the world while getting mentored by world renowned designer and educator, Chris Do.

When I’m not working, I’m often meditating, doing yoga, running, going to ecstatic dances, spending time with animals or in nature, writing, practicing my electric guitar and planning my next adventure.

On my personal social media, I speak out about my passion for gratitude, lifestyle design, minimalism, sustainability, manifestation, and choosing love.

When you feel inspired, don’t just trust it. Act on it!
